The 30th International Student Scientific Conference, POSTER 2026, is an excellent opportunity for doctoral and master’s students to share their research and gain valuable experience in presenting scientific posters. This event provides a supportive environment to practice poster creationand presentation skills, offering a chance to explore what it’s like to participate in an academic conference.
Beyond the presentations, the conference is a unique space to connect with academics, professionals, and peers, fostering collaboration and networking in fields related to electrical engineering, informatics, and beyond. To encourage excellence, prizes will be awarded for the best submissions in each session.
What's new this year?
As last year, 10 of you will have an opportunity to present your research not only as a poster but to also give a 3-minute oral presentation about it. We call it the Elevator Pitchand you may learn more about it in the "Submissions Guidelines" section of this website. It is an optional presentation to which 10 volunteers can apply on top of their poster presentation.
This year, we are introducing a new submission type. In addition to presentations of completed scientific results, we now also welcomework-in-progress contributions. This format is designed to provide space for sharing ongoing research, discussing challenges, exchanging ideas, and receiving constructive feedback. You would have the opportunity to connect with peers across disciplines, gain fresh perspectives on your work and refine your ideas through dialogue. To be admitted, an extended abstract following the gereral guidelines must be submitted.
Conference Date and Location
The conference will be held on Thursday May 14, 2026 at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Czech Technical University in Prague, Technická 2, Prague 6, Czech Republic (Underground line A, station "Dejvická").
